We Need You!
Storm Netball Club is run by volunteers and dedicated parents. It is the generosity of the committee members, administrators, coaches, managers and umpires who give their time and effort that allows our Storm players to be on the court each and every week.
We know your time is precious and Storm Netball community appreciates the involvement of all parents, big or small! Please consider volunteering for one of the positions outlined below. We would love to hear from you!

Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Arrive in good time for the start of the game, get the scorecard from your team and check that the front has been completed fully before the game starts. No additions to the team sheet are permitted once the game has started.

Stand together with your fellow scorer in a place designated by the umpires and work together as a team for the duration of the game.
-
Keep an accurate scorecard checking with your fellow scorer after every goal.
-
Only when asked by an umpire, call the centre pass. (This will only happen occasionally if umpires cannot agree which team should have the next centre pass.)
-
If both scorers think that the umpires have allowed an incorrect centre pass, IMMEDIATELY signal the closest umpire to stop the game by raising an arm and shouting UMPIRE
-
Do not coach, make comments or shout encouragement during the game.
Sponsor
Netball is the most popular women's team participation sport in Australia. Each and every Saturday, hundreds of players and supporters are out at Underwood Park NA to participate in, or support our Storm netballers. With this level of participation, almost everyone knows a netballer – and we’d like to help them get to know your company better, through sponsorship of our club. Your company logo will also be featured on the uniforms worn by all players who sign up that year.
As a sponsor, you will support Storm Netball to:
-
Develop and support high quality coaches and umpires
-
Provide quality coaching materials for teams
-
Reduce the cost of uniforms and club shirts for members
-
Help attract and retain players and members
If you, or someone you know, would be interested in sponsoring our club we would love to hear from you.
