Umpiring
At Storm Netball we recognise the importance of education and continued training for our umpires and provides mentors to offer guidance, tips and assistance to our young umpires.
If you are interested in umpiring we suggest purchasing a current Official Rules of Netball and the purple U for Umpiring Exam Guide. These books are available for purchase direct from Netball Qld. This resource is an umpire’s bible and by referring to them regularly you will have a greater understanding of the rules and how to apply them out on court when umpiring.
We are always looking for new and experienced umpires to join our club. As a club we offer plenty of support, coaching and development to assist umpires in gaining their competency and National badges. If you think you or your child would like to learn how to umpire or work towards a National badge, please contact us.
