INDOOR
Storm Netball is affiliated with OzSports Springwood and partiipates in their Junior competition on Sunday afternoons and Open Ladies competition on Monday nights. Indoor games run all year, with 3 seasons per year. The Junior competition caters for players aged 9-12 years, and our open competition attracts players of all ages and abilities.

Training
Training is not compulsory for teams participating in the Open Ladies competition at OzSports. As the night season competition is predominantly about fun and fitness, not all coaches will offer training for their teams.

Junior teams can choose to participate in ball skills clinics run by OzSports Springwood on a Sunday afternoon, before their game.
Games
Junior competition fixtures take place on a Sunday afternoon. Game times vary each week for teams participating in this competition. Fixtures are played at 3.00PM, 3:30PM or 4.00PM
Players participating in the open ladies competition play on Monday evenings. If players are still of school age, the complex will ensure that games are played at either 6.00PM or 6.45PM.
Divisions
OzSports Springwood places teams into divisions based on skill level. The complex does take into consideration the age difference of our players compared to other ladies teams. OzSports will always discuss divisions with the committee and/or coach before allocating a division to the team.
About Indoor

Games are played in 2 x 20 minute halves.

Players are allowed to pass the ball off the net, making this an extremely fast game as the ball never goes out of play.

Competitions run for 13 to 15 rounds with finals scheduled to commence immediately following the last round of fixtures.
